Privacy Notice

Your Data, Handled with Care

This notice explains how Biggerwaves Internet ("we", "us"), which runs Sports Jobs Asia, handles personal data. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and collect as little personal data as we can.

What we collect

  • When you browse: technical and usage information, such as pages visited, links clicked, device and browser type, approximate location and referring site. This is collected with cookies and similar tools (see below).
  • When you contact us: your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
  • When you sign up for emails (when we offer this): your email address and your preferences.
  • When you buy a paid service (when we offer this): your name, company, contact and billing details. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we don't see or store them.

You don't need an account to use Sports Jobs Asia, and we don't collect CVs. When you apply for a job, you do so on the company's own site, and their privacy policy applies there.

How we use it

  • to run, secure and improve the site, and to understand how it's used;
  • to reply to you and provide what you've asked for;
  • to send emails you've signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • to process payments and keep the records the law requires;
  • to meet our legal obligations.

We don't sell your personal data.

Services we use

We use trusted service providers to run the site. They handle data for us under their own privacy and security terms. They include, or may include:

  • Hosting and security: Cloudflare.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, PostHog and Cloudflare Web Analytics.
  • Search performance: Google Search Console.
  • Email: an email delivery service such as Resend.
  • Payments: Stripe.

Some of these providers store or process data outside Singapore. When that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your settings and measure how it's used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, and then delete or anonymise it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to withdraw your consent to how we use it. Email hello@sportsjobs.asia and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect personal data. No website is completely secure, so we can't guarantee it.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
